Tomb Raider - A gem. It’s weird that the current consoles are nearing the end of their life cycle yet they’re still pumping out games like this that are just as good — if not better — than almost anything thats been released for them thus far. It’s part Uncharted, part Assassin’s Creed with a lot of Arkham Asylum thrown in. It’s simply awesome. If you’re hesitating on picking it up, don’t worry, you’re going to get a lot of bang for your buck.
MLB The Show 13 - Despite that fact that I live in a baseball town, I’m not much of a baseball guy. But there are times here and there where I like to play baseball games. The last baseball game I owned was MLB The Show 10. I enjoyed the hell out of that game and I’ve invested a good 200-300 hours into it over the years. So that’s why I was thinking about picking up the latest version. I rented it from Redbox the other night and well, unfortunately, I seen enough to decide to pass on it. I quickly realized that not a lot has changed with this series. The music was the same. The menus are the same. The animations and presentation are the same. With so few differences, I’ll just stick with my MLB The Show 10.
