I’ve been preparing myself for this news ever since Reynolds was cast as the Green Lantern. It’s truly unfortunate. You cannot name me three more popular comic book characters right now than Deadpool, yet his movie is in all likelihood going to get canceled because of the Green Lantern — a film that, based upon thats been shown of it so far, is on the fast track to being a Fantastic Four-like box office disaster. 

Don’t allow this news to bring you down too much, Deadpool Fans. Yes, it’s setback, but the character of Deadpool is too popular for Hollywood to ignore for long. The film will be made eventually, whether Reynold is attached or not.
